Backgrounds can be exterior or interior design, which sets the scene and conceptualizes the environment and world of the following. All starts from an idea, typically from inspiration and style, then following where it will be and what to create. For example, an intricate temple-like Chinese village with megastructure forms. This idea would be sketched through various builds and studies before tackling what’s placed in the environment.
